Safety is not a feature for us — it is the reason SIVAR exists. Every decision we make about verification, listing standards, and support is built around one question: would we feel safe sending our own sister here?

Before You Book

  • Every property is physically inspected by our team before listing — no remote-only approvals

  • Host identity is verified via Aadhaar-linked KYC through our booking platform

  • No listing goes live without passing our 20-point safety checklist: locks, lighting, water, emergency access, neighbourhood

  • Property photos are taken by our team — not self-submitted

Women-Specific Safeguards

  • The Women-Safe badge means a female host or a dedicated, lockable women's section — verified on inspection

  • Our team personally calls new hosts to walk through house rules and guest expectations before the first booking

  • Guests can filter exclusively for women-only or female-hosted properties

  • Female-hosted properties are never mixed into general search without the guest opting in

During Your Stay

  • 24/7 support line exclusively for SIVAR travellers — WhatsApp and phone

  • On-ground assistance for everything from a midnight ride to temple directions

  • Emergency escalation protocol: if a guest does not respond to a safety check within one hour, we contact our local network

  • Every booking confirmation includes the host's verified contact and our emergency number

After Your Stay

  • Verified reviews only — a booking is required to leave a review; no anonymous or incentivised reviews

  • Any safety complaint triggers an immediate review of the host's listing and a personal call from our team

  • Three or more safety-related complaints results in automatic de-listing pending investigation

  • Zero-tolerance policy: harassment, unauthorised charges, or threats result in permanent ban and, where warranted, referral to local authorities

Report a Concern

  • Email: safety@izivar.com — all reports handled within 4 hours (6 am – 10 pm IST)

  • WhatsApp: message our published support number for urgent issues

  • Every report is reviewed by a human — not filtered by a bot

  • Reporter identity is kept confidential in all cases
